Data on publication and frequency

AMIDI.Biblioteca is an open-access digital platform dedicated to the continuous publication, preservation, dissemination, and interoperability of academic and research electronic books. Its catalogue includes scientific, humanistic, technological, methodological, and innovation-oriented works available in digital format, with editorial metadata, ISBN, Crossref DOI when applicable, open-access licensing, editorial layout, academic peer review, and mechanisms for international academic visibility, metadata interoperability, harvesting, and discoverability.Accepted, peer-reviewed, co-edited, or incorporated works are published once their editorial, technical, documentary, and academic processes have been completed.

For better organization, the General Catalogue of AMIDI.Biblioteca is structured through three levels of classification:

Academic categories

Academic categories identify the type of contribution of each work:

  • Theoretical and Empirical Research: peer-reviewed scholarly works that contribute theoretical, empirical, or theoretical-empirical knowledge in scientific, humanistic, technological, or innovation-related fields through specialized analysis, original evidence, models, research findings, or frontier discussions.
  • Applied Research: peer-reviewed scholarly works aimed at addressing scientific, humanistic, technological, social, institutional, or professional problems through theoretical foundations, systematic methodology, specialized analysis, and applicable proposals.

Editorial categories

Editorial categories identify the publication or incorporation modality of each work within the catalogue:

  • AMIDI Editions: Academic works published under the editorial responsibility of AMIDI Editorial, with an AMIDI ISBN, academic peer review, open access, digital preservation, and dissemination through AMIDI.Biblioteca.

  • AMIDI Co-editions: Academic works developed through formal collaboration between AMIDI and other academic institutions, research centers, networks, research groups, or scholarly publishers, with institutional traceability, academic peer review, open access, digital preservation, and dissemination through AMIDI.Biblioteca.

  • Academic works associated with an AMIDI co-edition process: Academic works originally published, developed, or formally established in collaboration with universities, research centers, academic networks, research groups, or scholarly publishers, and incorporated into AMIDI.Biblioteca within the framework of a co-edition process, institutional collaboration, or editorial coordination with AMIDI Editorial, for digital preservation, open access, academic dissemination, interoperability, and traceability. Their inclusion does not replace the original ISBN, peer-review process, editorial responsibility, or rights ownership, unless a formal instrument establishes a co-edition, re-edition, editorial incorporation, or authorized use of the AMIDI imprint.
