Publish with us
AMIDI.Biblioteca is an open-access digital publishing platform dedicated to the publication, preservation, dissemination, and interoperability of academic and research electronic books. AMIDI Editorial holds RENIECYT-SECIHTI registration 2200092 and publishes digital works with editorial metadata, ISBN, Crossref DOI when applicable, open-access licensing, editorial layout, similarity screening, external academic peer review, digital preservation, and interoperability through OAI-PMH.
AMIDI Editorial prioritizes the publication of AMIDI Editions, co-editions of original works, and co-editions of previously published works, provided that editorial traceability, express rights authorization, academic review, open-access licensing, and consistency among the cover, legal page, metadata, public record, and declared editorial modality are ensured.
Academic Review, Academic Evidence, and Editorial Traceability
Every work published, co-edited, or incorporated into AMIDI.Biblioteca must have an external academic peer review or verifiable evidence of academic evaluation, institutional endorsement, editorial review, minutes, acceptance letter, certificate, or equivalent document, according to its editorial modality.
In the case of AMIDI Editions and new AMIDI Co-editions, the academic review shall be part of the ordinary editorial process prior to publication.
In the case of previously published works incorporated as an AMIDI Co-edition, a new AMIDI co-edited edition, or an Academic work associated with an AMIDI co-edition process, formal authorization, academic evidence from the original edition, rights validation, verifiable open-access licensing, and editorial traceability must be documented.
The existence of a review report, letter, certificate, minutes, institutional endorsement, authorization, or equivalent evidence shall be preserved as part of the editorial file of each work.
Every publication proposal is subject to editorial review, similarity screening, rights validation, compliance with ethical policies, external academic peer review, and technical metadata review. Reviews are conducted by specialists external to the editorial team, selected according to their academic expertise, thematic relevance, institutional independence, and absence of conflicts of interest.
The possible contracting of editorial, technical, or dissemination processes does not guarantee acceptance or publication of the work. Publication is conditional upon editorial approval, a favorable academic evaluation process, and compliance with the applicable legal, ethical, technical, and documentary requirements.

V. Open access, licenses, and rights
Works published or co-edited in AMIDI.Biblioteca are made available in open access according to the license declared in each publication. Digital access to the works shall be available for reading, consultation, and download without payment, subscription, or registration by readers.
Each work must visibly indicate its license of use on the legal page, public record, editorial metadata, and corresponding digital file. The declared license must be consistent with the rights authorized by the authors, rights holders, or co-publishing institutions.
Authors retain the rights corresponding to the selected license and the applicable editorial agreements. AMIDI Editorial receives a non-exclusive authorization to publish, preserve, disseminate, describe through metadata, enable interoperability, and make the work publicly available in AMIDI.Biblioteca, according to the declared license.
The recommended license for works published or co-edited by AMIDI Editorial is Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0), unless another open-access-compatible license is established by editorial, institutional, legal, or funding agreement.
For co-edited works, including previously published works incorporated as an AMIDI Co-edition or New AMIDI Co-edited Edition, the open-access license must be expressly authorized by the participating institutions, the original publisher, or the corresponding rights holders.
AMIDI Editorial promotes open access, academic integrity, editorial ethics, peer review, proper authorship attribution, transparency in editorial processes, metadata consistency, digital preservation, and the public availability of its publications.
VI. Editorial consistency rule
The cover, legal page, public record, metadata, DOI, license, PDF, and editorial category assigned in AMIDI.Biblioteca must be consistent with each other.
Therefore:
-
If the work appears as an AMIDI Edition, the legal page must recognize AMIDI’s editorial responsibility;
-
If the work appears as an AMIDI Co-edition, there must be a co-edition instrument and authorization for the use of imprints/logos;
-
If a previously published work incorporates the AMIDI imprint, a new ISBN, AMIDI DOI, or AMIDI editorial recognition, it must be processed as an AMIDI Co-edition or New AMIDI co-edited edition;
-
If a previously published work does not have a formal co-edition instrument, authorization for imprints/logos, and verifiable editorial participation by AMIDI, it may not be presented as an AMIDI Co-edition.
The use of a Creative Commons license, DOI, ISBN, AMIDI imprint, institutional imprints/logos, or editorial category must be supported by the corresponding rights, authorizations, and editorial instruments.
